Burnout vs Misalignment

Do you ever feel burnt out - not because you're overworked, but because you feel unfulfilled and are exhausted from constantly chasing your 'thing'? 


Maybe you don't even know what your thing is - that makes it even more tiring.


I know because I've been there.


It's not laziness - maybe you're just not in alignment.


I know that's a very 'coach-y', so here’s what misalignment might feel like:


• Constantly feeling tired, even after a week on a beach and plenty of naps


• A nagging feeling that “something’s off” or "I have so much more to offer the world"


• Chasing goals that no longer excite you (or maybe never did but society told you otherwise)


• Going through the motions each day but feeling totally disconnected


You might think you need a break…but what you really need is clarity and an understanding of what you want out of life.


✨ Clarity about your values


✨ Clarity about your purpose


✨ Clarity about what you want vs what other people are telling you to want


Burnout says: “I’m doing too much.”


Misalignment says: “I’m doing the wrong things.”


Start by asking yourself:


➡️ What lights me up?


➡️ What feels heavy (even when it “should” feel good)?


➡️ What needs to shift?


You don’t need to change everything; you just need to recognise what's not working and make some swaps.
