Why walk & talk therapy?
☀️ it’s a great way to get outside and move your body
☀️ walking is proven to help with symptoms of depression and anxiety, as well as be a good stress management tool
☀️ we are alongside each other, which might help clients who feel awkward sitting face to face with a counsellor
☀️ walking is a literal way of moving forward and helps process those feelings of ‘stuck-ness’ that brings many people to therapy and coaching in the first place
Why not Walk & Talk therapy?
☔ The great British weather can be unpredictable and we might get wet!
☔ Something to consider is that your confidentiality is compomised - we are outside so might be overheard, and there is a risk of bumping in to someone you know.
☔ It's definitely not as convenient as online work, and can be more expensive once you've taken in to account travel and parking charges.
